With the ever increasing restrictions caused by the coronavirus we wanted to touch base, not to add concern, but simply to share options so that we respect all opinions and desires while we navigate what's happening.
Unfortunately, the government wants their tax money and even though there is talk of extending the IRS's April 15th tax deadline, it's not definite and will likely be riddled with rules, so we're proceeding as is.
It is not necessary for you to come into our office to get your taxes done. We work with hundreds of folks all over the counter who've never stepped foot inside our walls and we have a well honed machine for doing so without sacrificing quality. Here's how they do it:
They use the portal
Clients have a secure online account with us called the portal, inside they can scan and upload documents to us electronically, complete a tax organizer, receive completed tax returns and sign efile forms electronically. They mail in their tax documents
Many folks simply mail their documents in. We prepare them and call to determine if you want to pick them up or have them mailed back. We always do tracking when we return mail.
